Sony Released Move.Me Approved Body Sensor for PC and Other Device Operation and Control

In the Game Developers Conference, Sony Computer Entertainment officially launched a kind of software named Move.Me. Through Move.Me, relevant scholars, researchers, students and amateurs can develop software that can make use of the PlayStation Move motion sensing controller as PC output device.

By means of Move.Me, PS3 game developers can transfer the advanced tracking data to PC so that a powerful tool that can create program will come into being. Move.Me can do help to medical researchers, for example, carry out rehabilitation while doing clinical medical treatment. At the same time, Move.Me application will lead game-design students dig out fresh new originality. Relevant aoolication will be compatible with all Windows or Linux PC, and other devices like tablets and smartphones. Sony Computer Entertainment will offer support for Move.Me application by giving out code samples, using document and cooperation materials.

Move.Me downloading is available on PlayStation website this spring. In the early product promotion plan, lots of American researchers and experts in medical industry, academia and computer interaction show clearly that they are interested in taking advantage of Move.Me to develop innovative application program.
