"Till the World Ends" is a song by American recording artist Britney Spears. It was from her seventh studio album--Femme Fatale, and also marked as the second single. "Till the World Ends" was written by Dr. Luke, Alexander Kronlund, Max Martin and Kesha, while being produced by Dr. Luke, Max Martin and Billboard. The main inspiration of the song for Kesha was imagining Spears and any other female musicians touring the world. "Till the World Ends" made a debut on March 3, 2011 and was released for digital download in the following day. This song is composed as an uptempo dance-pop and electropop song along with a chant-like chorus, where Spears sings about dancing until the end of the world.
Since the release, "Till the World Ends" has received positive reviews mostly. The critics regarded it as a catchy dance track and complimented its anthemic hook. Many countries all over the world have been charted in the song, and among which the top ten peaking nations including Canada, Finland, Ireland, New Zealand, the United States, etc. The accompanying music video was directed by Ray Kay in which Spears was portrayed in an underground dance party set on December 21, 2012. At the same time, critics noted that the music video is similar to "I'm a Slave 4 U", and mainly gave positive reviews for it.
