Nikon Android Based Camera Is on the Way

In May this year, there was news that Apple is developing an independent digital camera. The report said that the camera imaging quality far surpasses the built-in camera of iPhone and iPad. Based on Steven Jobs biography written by Walter Isaacson, we all know that Jobs wants to change the photography industry. But so far there are few news and rumors about the camera coming from Apple.

Currently, according to NikonRumors website, Nikon Coolpix s800c based on Android system is under development. So there will be guess that whether Apple will release an iOS based camera.

The 3.5-inch OLED screen makes the reverse side of Coolpix s800c. It is running on Gingerbread system, supporting GPS and WiFi. The device supports photo shooting, email sending, internet surfing and music playing.

In addition, there is news that Samsung is also developing Android system based Galaxy Camera. Of course, the specific price and release date of these Android-based cameras remain unknown.

MOTO RAZR HD Is Expected to Release on September 5

I think everybody gets familiar with the upgraded RAZR HD series mobile phone. Currently, following the news that Motorola RAZR HD new phone will be released on September 5, there is video about the new RAZR HD XT926 on the internet which presents the new phone for the first time.

Official Video

The phone has been exposed for so many times in the fast few months, so people will be quite familiar with this phone. Seen from the official video, Motorola RAZR HD XT926 will be equipped with 4.6-inch 720p HD display as expected. It adopts full touch controlling mode with no entity key on the front side. Besides the hale line and sharp blade style, the Verizon characters reflect its customization identity.

As to mobile phone appearance Motorola XT926 is also with clean-cut lines and phone back made of Kevlar material. But the camera does not adopt the previous “Shark Head”. The well-marked “LTE 4G” characters on the phone confirm that it will support 4G LTE network and is customized by North American operator Verizon.

Snapdragon S4 Dual-core Processor

MOTOROLA RAZR HD XT926 will also carry Android 4.0.4 system and provide 1 GB of RAM capacity, built-in 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 processor, support NFC (near field communication) function and with HDMI interface. And in camera specification it has reached a considerable high level, with 13-million-pixel camera, providing automatic focusing and 1080p full HD video recording function, etc.

However, the thicker version RAZR HD MAXX people expect will not be launched. The reason may lie in that MOTOROLA has made RAZR HD series equipped with 2350 mAh battery, so that the phone can reach balance between super-long standby and ultra-thin phone body.

Release on September 5

According to the previous news, Motorola and operator Verizon will hold the new product launch conference on September 5. The "On Display" characters imply that the long-expected Motorola RAZR HD smartphone is likely to make a debut on the day.

By the way, besides XT926 which opens for American market, the other two phone modes including XT925 and XT923 will also be released.

Windows 8 Phone May Hit T-Mobile with LTE Fashion

In case the rumored statement pans out, Samsung could be silently preparing a new Windows 8 smartphone boasting a connection to T-Mobile's new 4G LTE network. Additional specifications the device might feature embrace a nimble 1. 5GHz dual-core Snapdragon S4 processor chip, 1GB of RAM, and a big 4. 65-inch Super AMOLED HD (1280x720-pixel) display.

Some other possible goodies the actual rumored phone, code-named Odyssey, could be furnished with are a 1080p main camera (likely 8 megapixel) as well as front-facing 720p imaging system. The origin of the speculation comes from a user agent document spelling out the hardware profile and network details of the unknown piece gadget. The doc does identify the author to be a DE Yoon from Samsung Electronic's Windows Mobile Lab, which sounds fairly official to me. The handset itself is tagged as the SGH-T899 using Samsung's traditional smartphone nomenclature.

No details yet with regards to when this device will arrive but evidently Windows Phone lovers may soon have a device comparable to hot-rod Android products. Let's hope the wait won't be too long and that Android fans won't be left out of T-Mobile's 4G LTE launch either.

New 1.7 GHz quad-core HTC One X+ Detailed in Recent Leak

There have been previous rumors speculating HTC's new follow-up to the HTC One X, but the recent leaks announced by Stuff are the most extensive by far.

The new device, now codenamed the "Endeavor C2", will reportedly house a 1.7 GHz quad-core processor, an improved battery, a new color (not yet determined), and a pair of UrBeats earphones. Additionally it was noted that the HTC Endeavor C2 will be compatible with all of the One X's accessories, most likely suggesting that the design blueprint will be essentially identical to the original One X.

It was mentioned last month that T-Mobile would be getting an upgraded version of the HTC One X. As details continue to develop, it looks more likely that T-Mobile distributors will in fact be carrying the Endeavor C2, AKA the One X+.

A few vague international price and release details where mentioned as well, with UK network deals offering the phone for just a bit more a month than the One X. The HTC Endeavor C2 is expected to hit shelves on or before October 1.

How to watch the Olympics in HD, 3D and Super Hi-Vision?

The 2012 London Summer Olympic Games are the most-televised Olympic games ever, with every event being televised in high definition, plus selected events in 3D HD and the new Super Hi-Vision format.

No sporting event has received total HD coverage before, but this year BBC viewers can watch up to 24 HD Olympic HD channels, on Freeview, Freesat, Sky, Virgin, online and smart TVs.

This is the first Summer Olympics to be filmed in high definition 3D, and the first to be captured in Super Hi-Vision, the new ultra high definition format with 16 times the detail of today's HD TV.

48 Olympic TV channels

The BBC is broadcasting 28 dedicated TV channels for the Games, with 24 each in standard definition and high definition on Freesat, Sky and Virgin Media.
That's in addition to BBC One and BBC Three, which will be chock-a-block with Olympics sports coverage for the next two weeks.
Freeview viewers get just two extra channels of highlights and live events on 301 and 302, because there's nowhere to fit anything more into the crowded airwaves used by Freeview. Channel 301 will also be available in HD for those with Freeview HD receivers.
The extra channels on Freesat, Sky and Virgin Media can be accessed through either the Red Button, or via dedicated channel numbers in each TV platform's onscreen programme guide.
The multi-screen BBC Sport app also carries the entire roster of extra HD channels, and is available on smart TVs and Blu-ray players from Panasonic, Samsung, and Sony (including the Playstation 3).
And finally, the ubiquitous BBC iPlayer has all of the feeds in HD and SD on numerous devices as well as online, as does the BBC Sport website.

2012 Olympics in 3D: BBC and Eurosport

There are both free and pay-TV Olympic events in 3D this year, with more than 100 hours of 3D HD coverage from Eurosport on Sky 3D and Virgin.
BBC HD will have an hour-long daily 3D roundup at 11pm, plus the entire Opening Ceremony on Friday, July 27, from 8.50pm.
The Men's 100m Final will be shown in 3D on Sunday, August 5, at 8.30pm, and the Final day, August 12, will carry a 3D Olympic Games Review from 8pm-9pm, followed by the Olympic Closing Ceremony from 9pm to around 12.30am.
Eurosport on Sky and Virgin adds live events from swimming, basketball, gymnastics, and canoeing in 3D, with about eight hours of live action and four hours of highlights daily.
Sky's coverage will be on Sky 3D, which is free to all Sky subscribers with HD boxes for the duration of the Olympics.
Eurosport 3D launches on Virgin on July 27, and it's also available to any Virgin subscriber with a V HD, V+ HD or TiVo box.

Super Hi-Vision Olympics: the UK’s first look

If you're anywhere near Bradford, Glasgow or London, we would urge you to snap up the last-remaining tickets to the free public Super Hi-Vision screenings from the BBC.
Developed by Japanese state broadcaster NHK, Super Hi-Vision is the last word in 2D film, with a resolution 16 times that of conventional HD.
This ultra HD experience also has stunningly realistic 22.2 surround sound in three dimensions - and for our money, SHV is miles better than 3D, even if you can't watch it at home.
The BBC is holding several free screenings every day of the games, showing highlights from the Opening Ceremony and events at the Olympic Stadium, Velodrome, Aquatic Centre and Basketball Arena.
