Samsung Galaxy S III can be pre-ordered from
AT&T and Verizon from June 6. The two top have also revealed when they
expect to begin shipping this popular new phone.
AT&T
has said that they will only be offering 16GB version of the Galaxy S III.
Customers can pre-order the device for $200 online or at any AT&T store. Pre-orders
for the Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III also begin today. The company is still
somewhat vague about the actual release date for the phone, but says it will be
on or before ship by July 9. Verizon will offer both the 16GB model of the
Galaxy S III for $200 as well as the 32GB one that will go for $250. Rival
carrier Sprint began taking pre-orders on June 5. It and T-Mobile are going to
release their versions of this smartphone on June 21.

Samsung handset features a 4.8-inch, 1280 x 720 (720p), Super AMOLED
touchscreen that makes users enjoy
video on Samsung Galaxy S III fantastically. It runs Android OS 4.0 (Ice
Cream Sandwich) and the U.S. versions will have a 1.5 GHz dual-core Qualcomm
Snapdragon S4 processor and 2GB of RAM.
AT&T's
version of the Galaxy S III is going to include two forms of 4G -- LTE and
HSPA+. It will also have Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS. The Verizon version is
going to support this carrier's 4G LTE service and will also offer Wi-Fi,
Bluetooth, NFC, and GPS.
The
smartphone also has a 2100mAh swappable battery, an 8 megapixel main camera and
a 1.9MP camera on its front. It debuted last week in various countries around
the world, and is headed for five of the top wireless carriers in the U.S.
Sprint, T-Mobile, and U.S. Cellular will eventually sell the device.
