Apple iPad 2 Is Going to Make A Worldwide Release on March 25 as Scheduled

According to media reports, Apple spokesman has confirmed that it will make a worldwide release of iPad 2 on the scheduled March 25(on this Friday). Due to the reason that iPad 2 is out if stock last week and people are in a long line waiting for iPad 2 so there comes the rumor Apple will make a delay worldwide release of iPad 2. Besides, analyst Brian White from American Ticonderoga Securities began to question about whether there are enough iPad 2 for Apple to release in more than 20 countries on Friday after he confirmed the inventory situation in some major retail stores.
The report that Japanese earthquake has led to the interruption of the supply chain also contributes to the worldwide release delay of iPad 2. Last week, the market research corporation iSuppli said that totally there are five components are produced in Japan. Although some Japanese supplier factories are prevented from destroying, it will be more troublesome to ship out these components because of the widespread logistic problems after the earthquake.

Last week, in order to recover from Japanese earthquake Apple announced that it would put off the release of iPad 2 in Japan.

Apple plans to distribute iPad 2 on March 25 globally, and the distribution range including Australia, Austria, Belgium, Canada, Czechoslovakia, Denmark, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Iceland, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Mexico, Netherlands, New Zealand, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Spain, Sweden, Switzerland and the United Kingdom.
